China is a half-a**ed Communist Dictatorship utilizing Capitalism to maintain its control and fund its operations. Well done I say.
The leaders of the Peoples Republic Of China were smart enough to determine that pure Communism would eventually self-destruct so they introduced just enough Capitalism to pay the bills. The USSR missed the memo and collapsed.
Our interest is in another aspect of the “China Syndrome” being adopted in the USA.
China is totally strangled for external information and severely restricted regards freedom of internal information and speech. This is a necessity in a totalitarian regime.
Here in the USA the Demercrat Progressive machine is busy trying to emulate the Chinese information control model for good reason. They are attempting to use the FCC and various other Federal mechanisms to silence the people and strangle information resources that expose their agenda. They already own the MSM but the control is not considered adequate.
What we have is a 2 pronged exercise:
1) The dreaded “talk radio” threat must be squashed and work is in progress at the FCC. A minor issue is the resulting 60 to 80 million Americans that will be very seriously pi**ed. General consensus by Progressives is “big F* deal” they will just mumble and take no serious action. Good luck on that assumption!
2) Destroy the “New Media” on the Internet. Somewhat more complicated but feasible the machine controls ICANN which controls the Internet and most significant “search engines” are in the tank for Progressivism and would see no real issue in totally censoring the “New Media” (actually they already do it to some degree as a general practice without government prodding), Side effects could be horrendous.
It’s a shame that the USA has been flim-flamed into such a situation. But “the powers that be” are presently Demercrat Progressives that want to become defacto dictators.
Comrades Obama, Pelosi and Reid make no bones about their grand agenda. The American Street needs to make no bones about its total rejection of the scheme and announce there will be hell to pay if the projects continue.
